Human Library – Virtual

Coeurd’Alene Idaho-  The Human Library™ is designed to build a positive frameworkfor conversations that can challenge stereotypes and prejudices throughdialogue. It is an opportunity to open individuals’ minds in a positive way,and help them better understand the misconceptions they may have ofothers.  The Human Library™ is a placewhere real people are on loan to readers, a place where difficult questions areexpected, appreciated, and a place where lifetime questions can be answered.Ordinary people like you have an extraordinary story to tell.

The Human Library™ gives theopportunity to help the public make sense of another individual’s life storythey may have never had the opportunity to explore. It also helps individualsunderstand uncertainties they may have developed over a lifetime of unansweredquestions. The Human Library™ is an educational opportunity, bringing in reallife people to tell their unique story and answer questions about their journeyalong the way.
