Earth Day Community Conversation: Sustainability & Growth

What does a sustainable community look like? What are the positive and negative impacts growth has had on our communities in Kootenai County? How has growth impacted our local environment; our land, air, and waterways? How will we plan for sustainable housing & employment in the present and future?
Join us for a special Earth Day Community Conversation on Sustainability & Growth in Kootenai County at McEuen Park Picnic Shelter. The dialogue will be guided by a series of questions and discussion points in small groups.
Connect with people in your community and engage in a civil discourse welcome to multiple perspectives. We encourage local groups that are passionate about these subjects to participate and share information about their action items in building a sustainable community.
Coffee, tea, and light refreshments will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring a lunch.
Registration is strongly recommended on Eventbrite as we are limited to 50 participants. Link: https://www.eventbrite.com/…/earth-day-community…
Discussion groups will be 4-5 people max, and there is plenty of room to space participants out. We are following recommended local COVID protocols for outdoor environments.
