High Tea for Human Rights
JOIN US BACK IN PERSON THIS YEAR! The High Tea for Human Rights will be taking place on Saturday May 22nd at the Coeur d’Alene Resort from noon to 3:00 PM. Tickets and sponsorship packages can be purchased on Eventbrite or by contacting Jeanette Laster @JLaster.HREI.org. Come hear our two inspirational speakers, Capt. Kim Edmondson, who served in law enforcement here in Kootenai County for 29 years, most recently managing the jail system, and Coeur d’Alene High School senior valedictorian Lilian Smith, who has done legislative work on school levies and started a model UN club and a non-profit to better STEM opportunities for students here in Coeur d’Alene. Come enjoy three delicious courses, dressed in your best high tea attire. You might even win something for having the best hat. There will also be a silent auction with items donated from the community, musical performances, and a table dressing competition to reflect human right themes. All proceeds will go towards the important student and community education programming done by HREI. Check out our Facebook for more information regarding the High Tea for Human Rights and other important HREI announcements.
