NIC Diversity Symposium

Fourth Annual North Idaho College Diversity Symposium

Diversity Theme 2018-20: Cultural Identity

The Diversity Committee would like to invite the North Idaho community to the 4th Annual Diversity Symposium at North Idaho College in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. The theme for these next two years is cultural identity.

The NIC Diversity Symposium is a day filled with discussion, presentation and displays connected to the college’s diversity theme (Cultural Identity for 2018-2020) and the common read (currently Sebastian Junger’s Tribe). Attendees are invited to attend one or all of these free sessions as this year’s symposium investigates the question “What Is Cultural Identity?” Presenters will speak about the ways in which our various identities (gender, sexuality, ability, race, ethnicity, etc.) affect our experiences in the world.

For more information about the diversity symposium, please contact Laura Templeman or Jo Lien. You can also visit NIC’s page on their diversity symposium for information, or their Eventbrite listing.

For more information, please stop by our location (414 W. Fort Grounds Dr., Coeur d'Alene), call 208-292-2359, or email
