Dr. Jerry Gee
Dr. Jerry R. Gee has served as the North Idaho College Vice President for Instruction since April of 1992. Prior to his appointment as vice president, Dr. Gee was a Dean of Instruction, the Division Chairman of Agriculture, and a faculty member at Dodge City Community College in Dodge City, Kansas. While on faculty for Dodge City Community College, Jerry taught farm management, farm accounting, agronomy, and agricultural mechanics. He also served as the head rodeo coach. Dr. Gee was a Commissioned Officer of the United States Army, Kansas National Guard from 1973 to 1979. Dr. Gee earned his Bachelor of Science, Masters of Science, and Doctorate of Philosophy Degrees all from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. Jerry served on numerous state and local committees and recently was the Co-Chair for the North Idaho Symposium of Diversity in Education.
Dr. Gee recently retired from North Idaho College. Since his retirement, Jerry has served as an independent consultant. Projects have included school efficiency assessments for various school Divisions in the State of Virginia, feasibility studies, and school facility assessment.
Currently he is assisting a new community college in the state of Idaho with the requirements for receiving accreditation.
