Young Advocates for Human Rights is a summer camp that equips teens to advocate for Human Rights Locally, Nationally, and Globally. YAHR is an annual program of the Human Rights Education Institute and is an intensive, fun, one-week training course designed to promote thoughtful engagement in the field of human rights. YAHR camp is based at HREI, located at the corner of City Park in downtown Coeur d' Alene and extends to Worley, Idaho and elsewhere for field trips during this daycamp from 10am-3pm M-F each week.

Experience in advocacy or education in human rights is desired but not required. Mentor training will be held the last week in July, and mentors will commit to a 9am-4pm work schedule M-F for all three weeks of camp (see above for dates).
